Each December, Al Awda Inc. unites the community in a joyful celebration of the season—filled with compassion, connection, and purpose. Our annual event, the 12 Bars of Christmas Charity Crawl & Toy Drive, brings friends and neighbors together to enjoy the holiday spirit, support local businesses, and share kindness with children in need. Let’s celebrate the holidays while making a real difference for families in our community!

Our Mission
The 12 Bars Hermosa Beach Charity Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to strengthening community bonds and giving back through joyful celebrations and meaningful local partnerships. What began as a small holiday pub crawl among friends has evolved into a beloved annual tradition that brings cheer and vital support to hundreds of families each year.
Why We Do It
We believe that true joy comes from connection and compassion. By combining celebration with purpose, we create opportunities for people to come together, share kindness, and make a lasting impact. Through our annual toy drive—held in collaboration with the Hermosa Beach Police Department—we’re proud to bring hope and happiness to children and families in need across our community.
🎅 12 Bars of Christmas Pub Crawl
Get ready to jingle all the way through Pier Avenue and Hermosa Avenue as we celebrate the season with style and spirit!
-Date: Friday, December 13, 2025
-Time: 7:00 PM – Midnight
-Cost: Free to join—just bring a new, unwrapped toy 🎁
-Dress Code: Ugly sweaters, Santa suits, reindeer onesies—anything merry and bright!
-Where Your Gift Goes: All donated toys will support the Hermosa Beach Police Department’s Toy Drive, bringing joy to local children and families in need.
🎁 Donate a Toy – Bring a new, unwrapped toy or drop one off at any participating bar.
👯 Volunteer – Lend a hand with setup, decor, or event coordination.
💖 Sponsor Us – Partner with us to support local families and promote your business.
